Are you self sabotaging?



I'm going to get right to the point today as we start a new week and a new month.


Are you holding yourself back with self sabotage?


I know I did for a very long time. It didn't matter how good the plan was that I was trying to follow; my block was in my head. And I see that with a lot of clients.


It's not the plan itself, it's whatever is going on in your head that keeps making you stumble.


The self doubt.

The lack of belief that you can actually accomplish your goals.

The feelings of not being worthy.

Thinking you're just going to fail like every other time.


If you don't believe you can achieve your goals, you never will. Until you actually address the issues going on inside yourself and face your demons, nothing will ever change. You need to change the way you think about food and exercise and a healthy lifestyle, along with how you view yourself.


Visualize the person you want to become.

Write down what a perfect day looks like for this ideal person.

Then, start DOING those things RIGHT NOW.

Act like her/him until that person becomes who you are.


This is exactly how I was able to overcome my biggest battles with food and become the woman I am today. It was how I was able to step on stage, and now I'm about to do my third show of the year. It hasn't been easy doing back to back shows, but because I've developed a strong mindset, I'm finally able to stick to a food plan for the first time in my life. Thankfully, I found an amazing coach who has helped me get here and stay here. You don't have to do it alone; in fact, most people can't. That's why we have mentors and coaches.
